RELEASE THE BUTTERFLY

I loved so hard
I broke apart
Sweep me up
Take me down off the shelf
At least put a flower
On the grave
Its my fault or isn’t
I’m not really sure
It just happened So
So what
Tripped over a rock and skinned my knee
I just wish you would look at me
And say
It’s okay
Release the butterfly And you will see
Yourself
In me
A butterfly
flying freely
