Eagle Fly

Keep an open eye upon the sky
Watch the eagle fly
He flies so high
He flies so low
Seeing more than you or me

Sailing through an ocean of questions
I volunteered to learn
On the port side of my beam
I think I have the answer
But my starboard always questions it
When I learn something new
There's something more I must know
The more I seem to learn
The less I seem to know

You don't want to get stuck in the right lane
The slow lane
Trying to go fast
You don't want to get stuck in the left lane
The fast lane
Trying to go slow

If you think you know it all
You will surely fall
If you lie
Your soul will die
You cannot defy
You have to know yourself
You can't hide that book upon the shelf

Don't be afraid to explore
Have an adventure
And learn more
Don't let nobody tell you it's wrong
    to learn those new songs

I want to ride the wings of a butterfly
Feel the feelings of a child
    watching mountains

I was a dead tree
    Coming back to life
    Hiding nothing
    Learning true songs
Who will tell me I'm wrong
    Only dieing trees
    Jealous of me
    Because of Themselves

Keep an open eye upon the sky
Watch the eagle fly
