Hurt, Do We Have To

Sometimes you have to get hurt
Sometimes your life is dry
There has to be a rainstorm
To make things grow again

There is a reason
But it's a long long road finding out
Many lifetimes long

There's a plan
A way
A universal system
There is something trying to help us out

We have to stop saying we've heard it all
    And listen some more
We have to stop saying we've seen it all
    And see what really is
If we could just look
See things the way they really are
We won't have to get hurt
    to learn
