Innocent

When I was just an innocent pup
I read the bible and cried
Because it condemned me
I searched to understand
Found many ways
Each one saying the others were false
I tried them all
Pretending to be saved
Lost in a maze
Until one day I asked
Who condemned me (?)
Will an artist condemn his own work (?)
Who said we were born in sin (?)
And we should burn in hell fire, Forever
Because we were born and God is just (?)
Out of his love he sacrificed his son for our sins (?)
Now I understand
I'm sorry I cried
And God forgive me for my lack of faith
