Looking down
In a dream
I see you
looking up
Birds fly faster than sound
come back around
and drop bombs on me
I see you
where those song birds supposed be
people say we should see
I heard once there was a rainbow
nobody knows where it went or where it goes
does anybody know
why oh why do they want to kill me
I was born here one day
and left here to stay
can anybody tell me
why oh why do they hate me
father says don't cry
mom holds me to her side
he stood so tall
Heard a noise
saw him fall
momma cries
why doesn't he stand up
I ask myself
is blood just a dark pink
nothing to eat
barefoot is neat
my name is Palestine
don't you worry none
everything is just fine
in time
