Seeds We Sow

In our younger years we sow seeds
We think nothing of it
Should fruit appear we are astonished
If we get caught in a thorny bush we complain that life is unfair

What is that they say about you when you aren't here
The birds do tell
Be careful what you say of others when they aren't there

Be careful not to sow seeds of thorny bushes
Don't be so surprised when you bear fruit
