FOR THE ONE IN CHARGE

Standing tall
Put you against the wall
They want something
For nothing
And expect you to make it happen
Feed the poor
But don't raise taxes
Stop the crime
But don't enforce laws
We have rights they say
To say what we may
But you
Be careful For what you may
Without you
They'd be nothing
For they need guidance
They say
But thankful are they
Complain, criticize
There is nothing you can do
They won't despise
What would happen
If one day
You were taken away
Who would they then
Blame and criticize
When will we take charge
Take the blame
And refuse to criticize
