CIVILIZED

The birds need no direction
no time schedule
The bees need no supervision
The ants work together without fighting
all doing their fair share
Make us look bad
don't they
As we intelligently pollute the earth
Kill and insult each other
Putting ourselves above those who put themselves down
Biting and scratching for as much as we can get
Independently selfish
We say
we are civilized
