The Beaten Path

Hey World
You can't hurt me
You can cause me pain
You can make me hurt
But you can't hurt me

I've walked back and forth on this beaten path
Taken arrows and bullets, ducking my head in shame
And people tried to walk over me to get by
But I walked on forward
Without a limp
Because I believed in Jesus
He is giving me a way
There ain't nothing stopping me

To all the arrows
To all the bullets
I don't duck for shame
You might cause me pain
But you can't hurt me
