Before This

I once walked in another place
A place of security
A place I did not want to leave

My head looked down
I was afraid of what I seen down there
No, I can't go down there
I cried
I pleaded
He put his hand on my shoulder
Everything will be okay
It's time for you to go

Now

I look up to the sky
Pray and receive no direct answer
But I know he's looking down
Hoping I'm doing my best

I fight everyday
Every lesson is a battle field
Learning is a victory
A bit of security I can hold onto
Everything is okay
But whoever you were
I will never like it here
