CRIES OF MOTHER EARTH

I sat there and heard her crying bitterly
"Lord how much longer do I put up with them"
Was it selfish, yearning or greed
Did we really need
Is there still time to stop what has been done
If her wrath comes tumbling down
Will there be any left to stand
She cried bitterly
"Lord how much longer do I put with them"
The Lord did not answer
